Think of this as a "Food Joint Of The Month" contest. Except here, a jury didn't get to choose who gets what. This time, we allowed all the 486,754 people living in Salt Lake City to be jurors by picking up various signals they created, including reviews, online & offline sentiment metrics, citations, Google search result rankings, links between websites, brand mentions, social media activity, and more.

Essentially, this competition focuses on the love of food, combined with the passion for cooking and sharing culinary creations with others. We discovered and reviewed all 165 food places in Salt Lake City, then shortlisted 54 (restaurants, diners, cafeterias, drive-thrus, food trucks, fast foods, etc.). Finally, we ranked them based on their food quality, service, atmosphere, value for money, customer feedback, and overall impression.
