This time, we allowed all the 96,681 people living in Palo Alto to be jurors by picking up various signals they created, including reviews, online & offline sentiment metrics, citations, Google search result rankings, links between websites, brand mentions, social media activity, and more.

Essentially, this competition celebrates the love for hospitality and the passion for providing comfortable stays to travelers and making them feel welcome and cared for. We discovered and reviewed all 47 hotels in Palo Alto, then shortlisted 14 (full-service/boutique/budget/luxury/resort hotels, wellness retreats, inns, etc.). Finally, we ranked them based on their room comfort, cleanliness, amenities and facilities, customer satisfaction, service quality, parking options, and value for money.
