This time, we allowed all the 266,540 people living in Salem to be jurors by picking up various signals they created, including reviews, online & offline sentiment metrics, citations, Google search result rankings, links between websites, brand mentions, social media activity, and more.

Essentially, this competition focuses on the love of food, combined with the passion for cooking and sharing culinary creations with others. We discovered and reviewed all 87 food places in Salem, then shortlisted 13 (restaurants, diners, cafeterias, drive-thrus, food trucks, fast foods, etc.). Finally, we ranked them based on their food quality, service, atmosphere, value for money, customer feedback, and overall impression.
