Think of this as a "Food Joint Of The Month" contest. Except here, a jury didn't get to choose who gets what. This time, we allowed all the 104,221 people living in Meridian to be jurors by picking up various signals they created, including reviews, online & offline sentiment metrics, citations, Google search result rankings, links between websites, brand mentions, social media activity, and more.

Essentially, this competition focuses on the love of food, combined with the passion for cooking and sharing culinary creations with others. We discovered and reviewed all 71 food places in Meridian, then shortlisted 12 (restaurants, diners, cafeterias, drive-thrus, food trucks, fast foods, etc.). Finally, we ranked them based on their food quality, service, atmosphere, value for money, customer feedback, and overall impression.
